Design and Decorating
Our involvement will vary depending on the scope of the projectas some do-it-yourself client’s will benefit from a brief consultation, and others may desire turnkey design services.

How much does it cost to hire a designer?
In order to leverage the creative vision and technical knowledge of a professional designer, you can expect that design fees for projects under $30k will be about 20%; projects between 30k and 100k will be about 15%; projects over 100k usually have design fees closer to 10%. We will happily work out a reasonable rate based on the scope of work and types of services you require, such as design, drafting, finish selection, project management etc.

For very small projects where less than 5 hours of consultation are required, our hourly professional fee is $125.00 + GST.

What if I just need some advice on a colour scheme?
We would love to help you select a colour palette that will help create a mood for your space. Choosing a harmonious colour will can enhance the architectural features of your space, and is indispensable when selecting finishes for interior elements such as walls, floors, furniture and accents.

For each room we will select paint colours for walls, trim and doors and possible accents for certain walls or features, depending on the space.

Fees for residential paint colour consultations are:
$85.00 for one room*
$60 for each additional room* thereafter.
(*a hallway counts as a room)
